Last weekend, PCYC hosted the Shark Coupe de Québec regatta. Twenty boats registered and 19 participated, though the event was dogged with variable winds.

Three races were held on Saturday, but on Sunday, although the boats went out, ultimately all races were cancelled for lack of wind.

Despite strong participation from PCYC (four boats), Ontarians came out in force and claimed all top spots, with Peter Van Rossem and his crew from the Kingston Yacht Club coming in first. Congratulations to George Stedman and his crew, Etienne Portelance and Theo Perring, aboard Ketchup for the top PCYC finish.

Despite the finnicky weather, fun was had by all, including good food and music. A big thank you to all volunteers for making this event a success.
