PCYC was chosen as Club of the Year by the Canadian Intercollegiate Sailing Association (CICSA) for 2024. The club received this honour after hosting several very successful collegiate regattas and after being home to the McGill and Concordia University sailing teams for their season.

CICSA was founded in 1937 and represents 16 active Canadian university teams. Sailors travel across the country to participate in various regattas. Last year, PCYC hosted the fleet racing nationals in late October. For photos from the event, visit the photo page on the CICSA website.

Concordia’s team has been at PCYC for some time, but the McGill team is a relatively new addition. Both teams contribute to a vibrant atmosphere, especially when things get going for them in the fall. The regattas were especially busy with multiple teams of 420s coming in and out of the harbour and a whole raft of PCYC volunteers (many thanks for their efforts) keeping things humming.
