Some excerpts from the PCYC’s newsletter, the Anchor Watch, from August 15th, 1951.
Several PCYC athletes took part in the ILCA 4 and ILCA 6 Worlds in Los Angeles this year.

Here are some links to articles and sites with info and photos from the competitions:
- The competition page for the ILCA 4 .
- A Sail-World article about the competition.
- The competition page for the ILCA 6.
- And a Sail-World article about the ILCA 6 worlds.
Congratulations to our very own:
- Diana Stedman,
- Benjamin Port-Louis,
- Alicia Letham,
- Carlos Charabati, and
- Enzo Biello.
Congratulations also to a whole raft of participants in this year’s CORK Optimist, 420, and ILCA fleets in Kingston. The CORK regatta was founded in 1969 and became a training ground for Canadian participation in the Olympics. This year, the regatta saw the comeback of Sail Canada’s Youth Fest. It is a major endeavour for our club coaches, and especially for athletes’ parents who have to take time off, drive boats to Kingston, and participate heavily in the event.
