Racers and volunteers from across North America spent a week of spirited racing along with the camaraderie that the regatta is known for.
Winds were high all week and the low water level in the harbour resulted in some entertaining moments as boats got stuck in the mud.
A big shout out to the many PCYC members who volunteered throughout the week, as well as those who welcomed out-of-town volunteers into their homes or onto their boats. And an especially big thank you goes to our PCYC staff for all the work they did to prepare the club for the regatta as well as their incredible support throughout the week.
A volunteer from the Nepean Sailing Club expressed their gratitude in an email after the regatta writing: “I am really missing the character, charm, enthusiasm, people … that is at PCYC.” We can be proud!
