The PCYC Opti and 420 teams did a great job at CORK 2025. Read a recap/coaches’ messages here and enjoy some photos.
Water levels are at near-record lows this season, and this has made access difficult for some members, particularly those with deeper-draft boats. We understand how frustrating this is and are working hard to assist where possible within the limits of space and safety.

We’ve had many requests for alternate berths, but space is limited and the entire harbour is affected. While we’re exploring short-term work-arounds, there’s no perfect solution this summer. Longer-term options are being discussed at the executive level.
We are surveying the harbour and have identified several underwater hazards. Some are now marked with new buoys, and others can be seen in the drone photographs below.

As noted, the low water has prompted some shuffling of boats. One of the more people-intense efforts was freeing Genesis from its berth so that skipper and crew can go on vacation in the Thousand Islands.
Identifying underwater obstacles has also meant using the new-to-us sonar to see what’s lurking beneath the surface.
