Since 1879, the Pointe-Claire Yacht Club has promoted sailing for young people through its Sailing School. We offer a variety of beginner and intermediate programs  for young people aged 7 to 17 teaching them how to sail in a fun and safe environment. Our students not only learn the technical notions of the sport, they learn how to work as a team, they develop their self-esteem and make new friends. The skills learned by our students last a lifetime, sailing is a sport that can be enjoyed in its various forms, regardless of age.

All our courses are taught by our bilingual Sail Canada certified instructors, selected among the best sailors of Lac Saint-Louis. Students demonstrating the proper skill level can achieve Sail Canada levels.

PCYC expects staff, members, their guests, visitors and others while on the property, including the club water activities, to behave in a manner that is consistent with the values of the club and does not contravene any laws, club by-laws or policies
