Message from the Commodore

At Pointe-Claire Yacht Club, our strength comes from the people who make up our community. Whether you are racing, cruising, learning to sail, volunteering, enjoying time with family and friends, or simply taking in a sunset from the clubhouse, each member contributes to the welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that defines our Club.

Our mission is to inspire and support a lifelong passion for sailing and boating. We do this through a commitment to sailing excellence, education, safety, inclusivity, volunteer engagement, and respect for one another. These values guide everything we do, both on the water and ashore.

I encourage all members to participate in Club activities, support our volunteers, welcome newcomers, and share their knowledge and enthusiasm with others. Together, we create opportunities for learning, friendly competition, lasting friendships, and memorable experiences for sailors and boaters of all ages and abilities.

As we enjoy the privilege of access to Lac Saint-Louis and our Club facilities, let us continue to be good stewards of our environment, uphold the traditions of PCYC, and maintain the strong sense of community that makes our Club unique.
