Enjoy the camaraderie, fun, and exhilaration of yacht and dinghy racing at the Pointe-Claire Yacht Club. Racing has been an integral part of PCYC with a long tradition of racing excellence. We are home to the most active and competitive racing program on Lac St. Louis; several racers having international and Olympic level experience. Nevertheless, we offer all levels of competition from novice to expert as well as crewing opportunities for those members without boats. So, whether you’re an ace helm seeking award winning glory or someone who just enjoys a bit of a friendly tussle with fellow sailors, the Pointe-Claire Yacht Club has events suited for you!
Race Management
Wide recognition of our race management capabilities has attracted national and international championship regattas, most recently the Shark Worlds in 2020 (canceled) and Fireball Worlds in 2019.
Regattas
Our Signature Club Regattas as well as various Championship Fleet Regattas are hosted throughout the season. With our world class sailing judges and measurers and our highly experienced coordinators and crew, these events are run professionally making for great competition.
