Coupe Maud <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

M. Widmer Nelles<\/strong> f\u00fbt l’un des 37 membres fondateurs du Yacht-Club de Pointe-Claire en 1879. Le 5 ao\u00fbt 1882, M. Nelles a remport\u00e9 la r\u00e9gate avec son yacht nomm\u00e9 MAUD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 1970, ce troph\u00e9e est r\u00e9\u00e9dit\u00e9 afin d’honorer le vainqueur d’une course en solitaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coupe Mirage<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En 1946, l’entrepreneur et promoteur qui a construit Gables Court, J.A. Dakin<\/strong> naviguait sur un bateau nomm\u00e9 MIRAGE et a achetait cette coupe chez Birks pour 34 $.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il en a fait don au commodore Lindsay H. Place<\/strong>, qui l’a ensuite d\u00e9cern\u00e9 au vainqueur de la course Coupe Mirage cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troph\u00e9e Championnat de Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ce troph\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 remis \u00e0 E.C. Janes<\/strong> et E. March<\/strong> en m\u00e9moire de leur fils, le Sgt. Fred Janes<\/strong>, tu\u00e9 au combat en Normandie le 25 juillet 1944. Le premier vainqueur remonte \u00e0 1947. Depuis 2020, nous d\u00e9cernons ce troph\u00e9e au vainqueur du championnat de Club.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Les coureurs des 5 clubs du Lac Saint-Louis participent pour repr\u00e9senter leurs clubs respectifs. Les bateaux ont un \u00e9quipage de 2 membres maximum et naviguent autour d’une s\u00e9rie de marques SLVYRA. Les bateaux accumulent des points pour leurs clubs respectifs en fonction de leur ordre d’arriv\u00e9e. Le club avec le plus de points remporte le Troph\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ce troph\u00e9e anciennement connu sous le nom de Troph\u00e9e Gremlin a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9attribu\u00e9 en 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le regrett\u00e9 Peter Kelly<\/strong> croyait que peu de sports peuvent \u00e9galer ce que la voile peut contribuer au d\u00e9veloppement des jeunes athl\u00e8tes. Ses nombreux engagements envers les programmes de voile juniors associ\u00e9s \u00e0 un environnement propice ont permis \u00e0 certains de nos athl\u00e8tes de concourir aux plus hauts niveaux.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Afin d’encourager l’innovation et les coureurs non conventionnels, cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement de ligne d’honneur est accessible \u00e0 toutes les embarcations non motoris\u00e9es. Autrement dit, la r\u00e9gate ne se limite pas qu’aux voiliers. Les embarcation sans voile sont les bienvenues.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
