{"id":233,"date":"2021-07-23T11:35:20","date_gmt":"2021-07-23T15:35:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pcyc.qc.ca\/?page_id=233"},"modified":"2026-02-04T14:10:17","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T18:10:17","slug":"types-of-memberships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.pcyc.qc.ca\/en\/types-of-memberships\/","title":{"rendered":"Types of Memberships"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are committed to attracting and training new sailors with several levels of memberships available<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Senior Memberships<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Age 35+<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boat owners&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Associate Memberships<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ages 25-34<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May or may not own a boat&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Intermediate Memberships<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ages 18 -24<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full-time student at college or university<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Social Membership<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All ages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full access to everything the club has to offer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Disabled Memberships<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Available to eligible applicants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our grounds and clubhouse are limited mobility friendly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CREW (Limited Access Pass)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This pass does not entitle the holder to any of the perks, privileges or benefits that a club membership offers. See Membership Benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to the club begins from the first GNS (Good Neighbour Series) warm-up race until the last Frost Bite Series race and is limited to the time period before and after a racing event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This category requires sponsorship from a Skipper, followed by a meeting with and the approval by the Fleet Captain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Junior Sailing Parents Social Membership Special!  <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNon-member parents of children enrolled in the PCYC Junior Sail-Training programs may apply for a one-year Social\/Crew membership at 50% of the regular fee with no Minimum Charge for the bar\/dining room\u201d. Please note that applications for all categories of Membership are required to be posted on the Members\u2019 notice board and be accepted by the Executive Committee.
