Sailing short-handed demands a shift in mindset, as one person assumes every role aboard \u2014 helmsman, trimmer, navigator, and tactician. Step up to the challenge and show us what you\u2019ve got in this single-handed race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boats having a SLVYRA rating from any club on the lake are welcome to participate in this white-sail single-handed event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

History note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 5, 1882, a single-handed sailing regatta was held at the PCYC. Mr. J. Wivmer Nelles, one of the 37 founders of the PCYC, won the regatta with his yacht Maud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
